My name is Dr. Aaron Cook. I am very excited to be a part of this dental family, and I look forward to getting to know each one of our valued patients. Let me tell you a little about myself.
I grew up in Hoover and was a member of the first graduating class from Hoover High School. I attended Birmingham-Southern College and got my dental degree from UAB Dental School in 2005. During my third year of dental school, I married my lovely wife Alicia, and together we now have two children.
After dental school, we moved to Rochester, NY so I could complete a hospital-based residency program. After graduation, I was asked to teach in the same residency program and ended up working as an attending dentist for almost four years. During that time, I taught the residents in all areas of dentistry from fillings and root canals to cosmetic dentistry and implants.
Toward the end of those four years, our son Riley was born, so we decided it was time to return home to Birmingham.
I hope to develop lifelong relationships with my patients. I believe in honest, conservative dentistry with an emphasis on prevention and patient education.
