I grew up in the picturesque town of Piatra Neamt in Romania. My role model growing up was my older sister Magda who became a nurse. Her pursuits in the medical field started my journey towards finding my career in dentistry. I have always been fascinated with architecture, healthcare and engineering so the ability to combine all three areas of interest into my profession was an ideal combination.
I received my first degree in dentistry from Titu Maiorescu Dental School in Bucharest in 2012 and presented my final year thesis project on cosmetic dentistry. While my education was a great foundation in the field of dentistry, I decided to come to the United States to further expand my knowledge and skills. I graduated from Rutgers University Dental School.
Following graduation, I had the opportunity to join a practice that allowed me to greatly expand the multidisciplinary approach in dental health care. My approach to maintaining and improving your oral health is centered around a conservative approach with evidence based dentistry.
I have extensive experience with cosmetic veneers, invisalign, implant restoration, restorative dentistry, TMJ/TMD, nutrition counseling, cavity prevention & caries management, periodontal assessments, crown and bridge and CAD-CAM technology.
My outside interests include poetry, nature, enjoying live comedy shows, spending time with my Boston Terrier and my lovely girlfriend. Many times I think about jogging – and hopefully someday you will see me jogging around D.C.
