Dr. Cline was born in Shelley, ID, and like any other Idaho boy, he grew up raising pigs, taking care of sheep, and moving pipe! After spending time in other places around the US, he and his family feel very blessed to be back in this great state and serving their neighbors every day. He loves spending time with his patients and simply getting to talk to them about their lives. He’s also extremely grateful for the great team he works alongside every day. Dr. Cline completed his undergraduate degree in business at Brigham Young University-Idaho and also served as a chemistry tutor there for five semesters. He then pursued his dental education at Creighton University in Omaha, NE. After dental school, Dr. Cline completed an advanced training in General Dentistry at ISU in Pocatello. This advanced program helped him transition to a more comprehensive mindset, emphasizing patient’s long-term goals. During this time, he received state-of-the-art training in dental implants, full-mouth reconstruction, wisdom tooth removal, IV sedation, root canal therapy, and many other aspects of general dentistry.
Dr. Cline has completed nearly 70 hours of continuing education in the last two years which significantly exceeds state-wide requirements. He has an IV sedation certificate from the state of Idaho, which makes it possible for him to provide calming sedation services to patients in need.
Dr. Cline met his wife Maddie at Badger Creek during the summer of 2011 while they were both counselors at a summer youth camp. Marrying her was the best decision he’s ever made! Today, they are the parents of three very lively children: June, William, and Ruby. The kids keep them on their toes and ensure that life is always entertaining.
As a family, they all love getting outdoors and doing activities like skiing, riding bikes, hiking, and jumping on the trampoline. As for personal hobbies, he enjoys doing CrossFit, trail running and playing soccer. He has coached youth teams in the AYSO soccer program and loves giving back to this community that has given him so much. He’s been in five different bands from high school through college, and still plays guitar and bass guitar when he can!
