Dr. Bryant L. Bourgeois was born and raised in Plaquemine, Louisiana. Later, he moved to St. Amant and graduated from St. Amant High School. After high school, he attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge earning a bachelor’s degree in Biology, as well as a minor in Sociology. He continued his education at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry (LSUSD). During his senior year, he served as president of Student Government Association for LSUSD and received an award in leadership. After earning his DDS in 2020, he became an associate at Lamendola Dentistry.
Staying very active in the community, Dr. Bourgeois is involved with many charitable organizations. In 2013, he started volunteering at Swollfest Fishing Rodeo, which has become a premier charitable fishing tournament benefiting the Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital, as well as many other nonprofit organizations. Dr. Bourgeois is now a board member and has helped Swollfest in raising more than $1,300,000, which has helped many differently-abled children and armed service veterans get into the outdoors.
Dr. Bourgeois is married to his wife, Kaelah, and they have one son, Benson. As a family, they spend most of their time being avid sports fans, attending LSU sporting events as well as philanthropic events throughout the Baton Rouge and Ascension areas. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, and the Greater Baton Rouge Dental Association.
