Dr. Grant Beyer is a General Dentist who graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. Prior to dental school, Dr. Beyer spent several years in clinical research, being involved in everything from prostate cancer research at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center to saliva studies in the Pediatric Dental Program at the University of Washington. He continued his enthusiasm for research while in dental school evaluating implant failure rates. His enthusiasm for research is his driving force for finding answers to difficult questions or problems that can arise in everyday dentistry, and is part of what earned him a scholarship at Tufts for exhibiting the “strongest personal and work ethic.”
Upon completing his doctorate at Tufts, Dr. Beyer continued his education with an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program through New York University Langone Medical Center. Here he collaborated with multiple specialty fields to learn complex case management and expanded his surgical skillset.
Dr. Beyer maintains active memberships with the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, as well as his local Clackamas Dental Society. While Beyer Family Dental does not currently offer these services, Dr. Beyer maintains his certification for N2O-O2 sedation and Invisalign treatment. He remains committed to continuing education and a lifetime of learning as is evidenced by his active membership in a local Spear Study Club where he meets with other local dentists to collaborate and learn together.
When Dr. Beyer is not in the office you may find Dr. Beyer out with his baby boy Emmett, wife Tiffani, and pups Bodhi and Basil, frequenting dog parks and ice cream shops. If you’ve read this far hopefully you don’t hold it against him too much that he’s an avid Husky and Seahawks fan, and has a joy for music and mountain biking, though the latter is on the backburner with a new baby in his life.
