Dr. Johnna (John-na) Thomas grew up just outside of Kansas City on a farm. She is a first generation college graduate and dentist. Her love for learning began while achieving her first Bachelor’s degree in Biology & Psychology. A year later, she attended University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry and attained her Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene.
She practiced as a dental hygienist in the Kansas City area for a few years, and although she felt it was a rewarding profession, she felt called to return to school in order to provide a wider variety of services for her community.
While in dental school, Dr. Thomas was a member of the coveted Senior Departmental advanced studies in restorative dentistry. She was also inducted into the Omincron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. She graduated from University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry Magna Cum Laude with distinction and received the Dentsply Sirona Merit Award in Removable Prosthodontics.
At Restore Dental, Dr. Thomas has created a judgment free atmosphere where patients feel comfortable and her teammates are excited to serve their community.
