Having grown up in the area, Dr. Lara attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health, and a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine.
Her postdoctoral training included both a General Practice Residency and an Oral Medicine residency at Carolinas Medical Center (Atrium Health) in Charlotte. She practices both comprehensive general dentistry as well as oral medicine (oral lesions, TMJ/TMD). She enjoys getting to know each and every patient and working together to achieve your oral health goals.
In her free time, Dr. Lara enjoys music, traveling, reading, hiking, and
spending time with her son, friends and family
