Dr. Mehran Azar is experienced in general dentistry, cosmetic, restorative, and dental implants. He is certified Invisalign and Lumineer veneers provider. Dr. Azar received his Bachelors of Science in Biology with honors from the University of Miami and his Doctor of Dental Surgery(DDS) from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in the City of New York. He completed a General Practice Residency at the prestigious Hackensack University Medical Center.
Dr. Azar was a recipient of the Clark Foundation Scholarship, the Ash B. Merit Scholarship and numerous other honors during his education. He was a consulting dentist for MetLife Insurance Company and in private practice in the New York area before joining Connecticut Dental Group. Dr. Azar has been serving Bridgeport and Trumbull area for more than 19 years. He also has been a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association(CSDA).
