Dr. Kapusta earned her dental degree and Master in Science degree from Federal University of Espirito Santo, Brazil in 1999. In 2002, she completed a two-year hospital based residency at LSU School do Dentistry. During that period, she worked one-on-one with multiple specialists within the field of dentistry and medicine throughout rotations at the Charity Hospital in New Orleans and LSU School of Dentistry. She gained hands-on experience in conscious sedation and management of medically compromised patients in need of dental work.
Committed to providing the best care possible for his patients, Dr. Kapusta is constantly improving her knowledge and skills. She participates regularly in continuing education courses, in all areas of dentistry including implants, Botox, Invisalign, and Six Months Smiles. She is an active member of the following professional associations: American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Louisiana Dental Association, New Orleans Dental Association, and Lake Pontchartrain Seattle Study Club.
In 2012, after rigorous examination, she received a prestigious fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry. Approximately only 5 percent of all general dentists have received this award.
Dr. Kapusta is a resident of Slidell, LA. and married to Dr. Daniel Kapusta. They are proud parents of Julia and Nicolas. She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, playing tennis, practicing yoga, traveling, and listening to music.
