Dr. Charles began practicing dentistry in 1992 after completing her degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, a private school in Boston, MA. She then went on to complete her General Practice residency at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital in the Bronx, New York City. After Dr. Charles finished her residency, she accepted a Director role at a school- based health program for underprivileged students in Bridgeport, CT. Her responsibilities included managing seven schools along with dentists and staff. She found it very rewarding to educate students and parents on oral hygiene and to help those who had no access to dental care.
Prior to moving to Arizona, Dr. Charles owned her own dental practice for 18 years in Fairfield, CT where she provided family and cosmetic dentistry to children and adults. Dr Charles received recognition for being the best Dentist in Fairfield County in 2013 and 2016. Dr. Charles’ area of dental expertise includes:

Throughout her career, Dr. Charles continuously explores ways to advance her knowledge and skills in dentistry. She is highly involved in professional affiliations and she is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. where she performs community service. She enjoys doing medical and dental missions with Joyce Meyer Ministries. Dr. Charles has done several missions in Ecuador, Guatemala, Haiti and El Salvador. In her free time she enjoys playing tennis.
