I moved to Colorado Springs in 1991. Since then, I have made a home with my wife, Cheryl who is a practicing Physical Therapist.  We have two kids; Rachel, who graduated the University of Texas and will be entering Veterinary School at the University of Missouri, and David, who studies Political Science at Colorado State University for Prelaw.

We love Colorado’s natural beauty and enjoy every experience our sunny state offers. As your dentist, I am committed to your comfort, and providing you with the best smile possible. At Bear Creek Dental, our patients are our family. I strive to put my best effort into optimizing the health of my patient’s teeth and gums in a caring and gentle manner.

Charitable Activities and Donations

I’m an annual participant in the Manitou Springs Health Fair, offering my best dental advice to members of our community. I also regularly provide consultation at The Village at Skyline Retirement Center for patients who experience difficulty traveling.

In the past, I have been privileged to volunteer for the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, offering my services to exotic animals in need of dental treatment. I served as Assistant Scoutmaster for Boy Scouts of America. I was privileged to work with the leaders and youth in my community, as well as share in the amazing opportunities and adventures that the Boy Scouts has to offer. I also have enjoyed visiting elementary schools, and educating community children on the importance of good oral hygiene.

I attended Arkansas State University for my undergraduate, majoring in Chemistry. I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery from The University of Tennessee in Memphis, graduating in 1991. I continue to attend seminars on innovations in the dental industry, where I refine my skills in order to optimally serve my patients.

After finishing dental school, I followed the military legacy of my father and uncle and entered the United States Army, where I served from 1991-1996, working with many soldiers and dental specialists. Afterwards, I began my career at Bear Creek Dental as an associate in 1996, eventually purchasing the practice in 2001.

I am a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, and Colorado Springs Dental Society. I appreciate the many ways in which these groups expand my professional network and highlight the needs and interests of the dental community.

When not working, I enjoy all the best things our state offers. I am a frequent skier, hiker, and camper. Most weekends you can find me on one of the many  trails surrounding Manitou, Cheyenne Canyon, and The Garden of the Gods. My family loves to travel, and has been fortunate to visit many countries and experience the culture in Europe and Central and South America.
