Dr. Mark J. Kaip graduated from College of Southern Idaho in 1993 with an Associate of Arts degree. While there, he played baseball for the Golden Eagles. In 1996, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology, with a minor in Biology, from the University of Idaho. He later attended Indiana University where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2001.
Dr. Kaip is a member of the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association and the Multnomah Dental Society. He has taken many continuing education classes that have an emphasis on conservative dentistry. One of his prestigious achievements is having been selected by his peers as one of Portland's Top Dentists in 2008, 2009, 2016, 2017, 2018 and most recently, 2019.. This was published in Portland Monthly Magazine.
Dr. Kaip has been the Team Dentist for the Portland Timbers and Portland Thorns since 2012.
Dr. Kaip is married to his wife, Meghan, and they have a beautiful daughter named Abbey. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys running, skiing and golfing. On most weekends, you will find Dr. Kaip and Meghan at the soccer field or basketball court watching Abbey.
